Biology 451/452 (2) - Biotechnology Seminar

Biotechnology Seminar is a 1 credit hour ( 1 hour per week) course offered in the Fall or Spring semester, in which current topics in biotechnology are presented by the students.  This course is intended for second semester juniors and seniors majoring in biology and biochemistry.  Students are expected to be familiar with basic biochemical and molecular techniques, as course readings consist of published reports in scientific research journals, such as Nature Biotechnology and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
