Camel Pals

General Information

 

            Camel Pals can be a rewarding experience for those students who would like the opportunity to mentor a young child in the local community or spend time with elderly persons who might not otherwise have many visitors.  Eligible students are expected to commit 30-45 minutes per week with either a student from Buies Creek Elementary School (adjacent to the Campbell campus), Coats Middle School or Harnett Central High School or a senior citizen from any area Senior Center or Retirement Community.  Activities can range from reading a book, to sharing lunch, to just sitting and talking.  Below are a list of general guidelines expected from all who participate as a Camel Pal:

 

 

Application forms can be accessed from the faculty web page of  Dr.Trey Asbury, School of Education.  Applications can be saved as a word document, completed and re-sent as an email attachment to: Asbury@campbell.edu.
