Sanitation / Solid Waste
Daily. Trash is emptied daily in all academic, administrative, food service locations, housing, and athletic areas, as well as public areas and restrooms. This service is provided daily through a combination of a University owned and operated sanitation truck and outside contractors. Any Sanitation concerns can be reported to the Facilities office at 910-893-1616.
Recycling:
Monday –Friday (weekends and special events as needed)
- Mixed paper
- Cardboard
- Mixed drink container, such as glass, metal, plastic, and aluminum
- Scrap metal
- Wood pallets
- Auto shop materials, such as oil, tires, and batteries
- Electric shop items, such as bulbs, ballasts and batteries
- Electronic waste
