In 2009, the estimated annual medical cost of obesity in the United States was $147 billion dollars. Due to this and many other additional issues, the health sciences field is now the single largest industry in the country, accounting for more than 14 million jobs according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
To meet the demand of the health science sector, Campbell University Fort Bragg/Pope offers a Bachelor of Health Science. Our program is selective and is based on prior experience. Our degree provides an interdisciplinary for current practitioners and delivers a well-rounded generalist curriculum. Our graduates can utilize our degree to enhance pervious or current careers or continue onto medical school.

How to Qualify for our Bachelor of Health Science
- Earn an Associate in Applied or Health Science degree in a healthcare related area, from a regionally accredited college or regionally accredited technical school. Up to 60 semester hours may be accepted as transfer credit towards your degree with Campbell University Fort Bragg/Pope.
- Complete a health care related military training program that is equivalent to (1.) above, then you may receive up to 60 semester hours as transfer credit towards your degree. Your transfer credits will be based on the recommendations by the American Council on Education (ACE), which are based on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS, AFSC, NEC).
Graduates of our Bachelor of Health Science are prepared to work in a variety of career options in the health science field or continue on to medical school. Students majoring in health science can see annual salary ranges from $34,000 to more than $90,000!
