Campbell University Fort Bragg/Pope offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Our criminal justice programs provide students with courses that directly apply to careers within the criminal and juvenile justice systems or pursue a Master's degree.

Bachelor of Science - Social Science - Criminal Justice
Your first option is our Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Students who have previous education or military experience in another field or students who are new to the criminal justice world are eligible to declare our Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a Concentration in Criminal Justice. Any student may pursue this degree regardless of previous educational, military or life experiences.


Bachelor of Applied Science - Criminal Justice
Your second option is our Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice. We created this degree to help our students with a background in criminal justice. Students must meet one of the two qualifying requirements for our Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.

  1. If you have earned an Associate in applied Science degree in a criminal justice related filed from a regionally accredited college or regionally accredited technical school, then this is the degree for you! Up to 60 semester hours will be accepted as transfer credit towards your degree with Campbell University Fort Bragg/Pope.
  2. If you have completed a criminal justice related military training program that is equivalent to (1.) above, then you may receive up to 60 semester hours as transfer credit towards your degree. Your transfer credits will be based on the recommendations by the American Council on Education (ACE), which are based on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS, AFSC, NEC). 

 Our two degrees in criminal justice provide students with a suitable foundation for career development or graduate study in criminal justice, criminology, public administration and law. 

Students will gain valuable skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Job Outlook
Graduates of our Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and our Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a Concentration in Criminal Justice will be prepared to work in a variety of career options including, law enforcement, private protective services or continue to graduate school. The criminal justice field has a wide variety of career options for students to enter. The Bureau of Labor Statistics provides a list of jobs that are in high demand. Students majoring in criminal justice can see annual salary ranges from $32,000 to more than $64,000!
