Curriculum Materials/Media Center
(CMMC)
The Curriculum Materials Center was begun in 1983, in
a room in Carrie Rich Library, by Betty Wallace, a long-time teacher and
wife of Dr. Jerry Wallace.
The
VHS videos of all departments were collected into one location in
1993-1994 and the CMC became the Curriculum Materials and Media Center or
CMMC.
The Curriculum Materials/Media Center houses
curriculum guides, North Carolina state adopted textbooks, professional
education books, professional education journals, computer software, audiovisual
materials, classroom manipulatives, the juvenile collection, and a wide
variety of other teaching materials. It is located on the second floor
of Carrie Rich Library.
