Looking ahead to the next academic year, after a well-deserved break

It is quiet in the halls of the School of Education. Seniors graduated last Saturday and are now busy preparing to enter a new phase of their lives that will take them to a new job or perhaps graduate school, undergraduates are enjoying some time away from the classroom and faculty are away taking a much deserved break. It is the time of year I reflect on the past year and what a busy and exciting year it was. It seems like just yesterday that new students arrived on campus excited to be college freshmen and anxious about how to deal with their new environment. They are now seasoned college students ready to mentor the new students when they arrive on campus this fall. Read more »
