A native of Bassett, Va., I am a non-traditional student in the PharmD class of 2013. I am 30 years old, married with 2 kids (4-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl). I live near campus in Coats, so it is a nice, quick easy drive to school every day. I am from I have been around pharmacy for about 12 years which helped prepare me for pharmacy school.
Before starting school, my biggest concern was how I was going to struggle keeping my home life together, my spiritual life feed and do well in school. Campbell has been instrumental in this happening. They have great professors who are easily available to answer questions. The staff is always friendly and ready to help where they can. The library and Maddox Hall offer great places to study (as you can imagine, it is really hard to get any done at home with the wife and kids). The decision to come to Campbell University was for sure the best choice for me and my family.
