CPHS awards 161 scholarships at annual Scholarship Luncheon

Gore Arena was transformed over the weekend from a basketball court to a formal, black and orange affair as donors and their scholarship recipients were introduced and enjoyed a meal together at the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences annual Scholarship Luncheon. The luncheon provides an opportunity for donors to meet the recipients of the scholarships they fund. Close to 400 donors, students, families, faculty and staff attended this year’s event and an overwhelming sense of gratitude filled the venue.

Campbell graduates first physician assistants

Over the past 28 months, the students of the charter physician assistant class of Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences have been hard at work learning how to treat patients, participating in community outreach events and practicing key elements of the profession, like casting, on each other. All of that hard work paid off as the 34 members of the PA Class of 2013 walked across the stage at Turner Auditorium in Buies Creek on Saturday.
