Medication Therapy Management Call Center creator visits campus

Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) hosted David M. Angaran, MS, as part of this semester’s Leadership Lecture Series on Monday, September 22. Angaran created the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Call Center at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, and he is currently serving as Clinical Professor of Pharmacy specializing in Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at the Gainesville campus.

CPHS hosts over 30 companies at Career Day

The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) held Career Day on Friday, September 19, as a way to connect current and graduating students with companies and health systems that are hiring. Over 30 vendors were on campus to meet and interview students, pass out promotional pens, and make connections with potential future employees.

CPHS awards first Internal Research Grant Program grants

Campbell University recently awarded its first round of awards through the newly established Internal Research Grant (IRG) program within the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. The IRG program was established in 2014 under the leadership of founding dean, Ronald W. Maddox. This program is one of many integral pieces of Maddox’s research initiative to encourage and enhance the collaborative research atmosphere throughout the College.

Over 100 faculty, staff, and students filed into Ed Herring Lecture Hall to hear a lecture on leadership given by retired Navy Captain and pharmacist, Mark Brouker, on Wednesday, August 27. Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (CPHS) rounded out its back-to-school events with the Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2018 White Coat Ceremony on Friday, August 22.The White Coat Ceremony marks the transition from pre-professional to professional students and represents the responsibility students undertake upon matriculating through a pharmacy program.
