Dr. Abraham’s research interests are in the molecular determinants of skeletal muscle differentiation especially with respect to calcium-dependent signaling. He uses a combination of cell culture and in vivo mouse models to study these processes. Additionally he is interested in the molecular mechanisms by which calcium mediated specific cellular processes via specific calcium-activated enzymes.
