Location: Maddox Hall, Room 207

The work in Dr. Hamrick’s lab is designed to extend our knowledge of Listeria monocytogenes pathogenesis.  To this end, she examines the interaction between bacterial and host cells via microscopy, cell culture, and infection studies.  Additional work focuses on the development of an attenuated strain of L. monocytogenes as a potential vaccine candidate strain.
