PharmD/MS in Clinical Research


Students interested in pursuing the dual degree must gain acceptance into both programs.

First-time applicants

If you applying to the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences for the first time, and wish to apply to the PharmD/MSCR dual degree program, please select this option while completing the supplemental application. All materials must be received by
March 1.

1. Complete a PharmCAS application
This includes submitting PCAT scores and three letters of recommendation, at least one letter from a science professor and a pharmacist is strongly preferred.

2. Complete a supplemental application
This includes submitting a passport size photo and $50 application fee

Returning applicants (current students)

Due to the logistics of the online application system, returning applicants (or current students) will need to request access to the dual degree application. Please send this request by email to one of our graduate assistants ([email protected]) in the Office of Admissions & Student Affairs.

Once the system is updated, the applicant will receive a notification by email that he or she is cleared to proceed. The applicant will then be able to submit the PharmD/MSCR dual degree application throught the online system.

The MSCR program is a year round program, entirely online, with applicants considered for admission in the Summer and Fall I terms. Individuals should submit their applications by the following deadlines:

  • Summer Admission: March 31
  • Fall I Admission: June 30

1. Complete PharmD/MSCR Dual Degree application
Official college transcripts, PCAT scores, and letters of recommendation will transfer over from previous PharmD application. GRE scores will be waived for students who have a letter of acceptance from the PharmD program.
