The doctor of pharmacy program is a four-year, professional program. The first three years are spent in the classroom and laboratories while the fourth year is spent on clinical rotations experiencing different areas of pharmacy practice first-hand.
In addition, throughout the PharmD program students participate in one-month long summer rotations following their first and second year. This provides them with an opportunity to apply what they have learned with hands-on experience.
Graduates from the PharmD program are qualified to serve our society with responsibility for the appropriate use of medications, devices, and services to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes, always providing the best possible care for the patient.
