Campbell University's Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) program will provide students with a solid foundation in health care research and outcomes evaluation. The focus of both the coursework and student/faculty research will include the elimination of local health care disparities, development of local community health intervention and educational programs. Therefore, the program will help promote health and prevent disease in the local community and possibly abroad. Such research complements the existing focus of the doctor of pharmacy and physician assistant programs with the addition of the proposed doctor of osteopathic medicine program and its focus on primary care. The MPH degree will provide a wealth of opportunities for collaboration and rural health care research.
