I’m Michael Adams, dean of the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Campbell University, and I would like to welcome you to our website. Whether you are a first time visitor or you’ve already submitted your application, I encourage you to have a look around to discover what life at CPHS is really about.
We offer a variety of health sciences degrees and encourage interprofessional education at all stages of a student’s time here. Three professional programs, three graduate programs and eight dual degree programs, along with undergraduate degrees make up our academic offerings here at CPHS. Whether your career goals are to become a pharmacist, physician assistant, or physical therapist or maybe you would like to conduct pharmaceutical research or clinical trials, there is a spot for you at Campbell.
Educating students in a Christian environment to become effective health care professionals is our mission, and we believe the interdisciplinary team is one of the keys to meeting existing and future health care needs. We aim to provide guidance to our students as they learn how to function effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team in order to provide leadership to their profession and professional organizations.
This mission is accomplished by personalized training at the College. We have dedicated faculty and responsive staff who want to help students discover their personal career path. Our small class sizes allow faculty and staff to know students by name, and serve as career mentors. Not only will our faculty be with you every step of the way, we also place a strong emphasis on providing real-world training and professional development. The majority of our programs require students to complete internships or experiential training prior to graduating. CPHS faculty members and training partners are strategically placed across the state of North Carolina in well-known clinical and industrial sites to provide you exceptional hands-on training.
At Campbell University, we want to graduate students who are prepared for purposeful lives and meaningful service. Our Christian tradition emphasizes to our students the importance of providing compassionate, dedicated care to patients. We strive to reach out to the community through service learning projects and encourage our students to volunteer and support local charities.
While you browse our website, I invite you to consider a visit to our beautiful campus to learn more about our exciting programs, meet our faculty, and tour our facilities. I hope you will discover that Campbell University is a great choice for your education.
