Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.
Whether your career goals are to become a pharmacist or physician assistant, conduct pharmaceutical research or clinical trials, or work in the public health sector, I invite you to consider earning your degree with us.
We are committed to preparing our students to excel in the health care industry and helping them achieve their true vision of success.
Our students receive personalized training at the College. We have dedicated faculty and responsive staff who want to help students discover their personal career path. Our small class sizes allow faculty and staff to know students by name, and serve as career mentors.
We place a strong emphasis on providing real-world training and professional development. The majority of our programs require students to complete experiential training prior to graduating.
Our Office of Admissions & Student Affairs is focused on helping students become knowledgeable, well-informed professionals. We offer more than 20 professional development workshops throughout the year to provide students with the soft skills and career advice they need to excel in the workplace.
Students are encouraged to get involved with student organizations on-campus to expand their leadership and professional skills. We have more than 20 nationally recognized student organizations and professional fraternities at our College.
And I am pleased to share our students have received recognitions and won competitions at the national level of these organizations. Our Kappa Epsilon chapter was named 2009-2010 chapter of the year and our Student National Pharmaceutical Association chapter received the chapter of excellence award for 2010-2011.
In October 2011, our student team won the American College of Clinical Pharmacy’s (ACCP) Clinical Pharmacy Challenge. With that win, Campbell University became the only pharmacy school in the nation that has won all three of the major practice-focused student competitions. These competitions include the American Pharmacists Association’s (APhA) Patient Counseling Competition, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ (ASPH) Clinical Skills Competition and ACCP’s Clinical Pharmacy Challenge.
Another focus at our institution is service-minded education. Our Christian tradition emphasizes to our students the importance of providing compassionate, dedicated care to patients. We strive to reach out to the community through service learning projects and encourage our students to volunteer and support local charities.
I invite you to visit campus to learn more about our exciting programs, meet our faculty, and tour our facilities. I hope you will discover that Campbell University is a great choice for your education.
