On Spring (farewell) in 3 parts
I.
spring came gently as a girl might brush a stray hair back over her shoulder
II.
Fall was conquered as love conquers sorrow- not perceptibly- not without regret, not permanently (no one pretends even) But only Because spring Must come And hence Be conquered
III.
Spring makes a mockery of mediocrity though it, too, lies between two extremes.
