A promise was believed

to preserve and increase

what has now grown old.

And all we can do is

wait and

wait

and wait.

Does God forget while we

wait

and wait and

wait?

Have we failed? Should we act?

Does He help those who help themselves

instead of only waiting

and waiting

and waiting?

Surely this plan is the answer,

the work that will save our family.

Now only nine more months to

wait

for fruition

Our own seed is poison against us;

we must prune it and

wait

wait

wait for Laughter.
