Phi Alpha Theta

Advisors:  Dr. Johnson - 1489, and Dr. Martin - 1485

The Alpha Iota Alpha chapter of Phi Alpha initiated 22 individuals on Thursday, April 5, 2001.  Dr. Thomas Porter, Phi Alpha Theta Regional Advisor for North Carolina, conducted the initiation and presented an address “Argument Without End:  The Zemstvo Reconsidered”.  Campbell hosted the Phi Alpha Theta North Carolina Regional Meeting, which was held in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business on April 21, 2001; approximately 50 individuals attended this event and twenty-one papers were presented.  Dr. David Morgan, former president of Phi Alpha Theta, gave the luncheon address and a number of authors participated in a book signing following the meal.
