First Citizens Wealth Management Intern, Raleigh, NC: As an intern in the Institutional Advisory Services group, I had the unique opportunity to gain hands on experience with corporate trusts, philanthropic trusts, and retirement plans. One major project I was engaged in was cleaning up the SharePoint site for the Institutional group. This project included cleaning up old, unused documents and re-categorizing information as well as retitling documents to help aid in the organization and functionality of the site. In addition to the organization of SharePoint, I also worked closed with the internal officers, relationship managers, and trust account specialists to outline their job responsibilities and help create a more efficient, streamlined process for their roles and responsibilities. I also participated in gathering information for an upcoming audit and worked to reconcile all account information related to initial account set up, fees, subcommittee reviews, lump sum distributions and employer contributions. Wells Fargo Summer Intern, Wilmington, DE: Spent time assisting both center service and center owned teams by reading, interpreting and applying will and trust document language to specific situations, including irrevocable, revocable, custody, and agency administrative account reviews, new account set up, and account terminations.
