Campbell University, Student Residence Life Office (Spring/Summer 2013), Circulation Desk: Duties included answering phone calls of new and current students/student-parents and directing their calls as needed, keeping records of calls and items that were transferred from the office to other sections of campus, speaking Spanish to International students/student-parents who needed assistance, creating and processing identification cards, collecting incoming mail and recording outgoing campus-circulating mail, collecting and recording monies for fundraisers and field trips, annotating messages for upper level employees, and directing individuals to their needed destinations. Campbell University, Natatorium (Summer of 2012): Duties included working the circulation desk by directing clientele into appropriate areas of the natatorium, accepting membership renewal payments, new membership payments, class/private lessons payments, crediting balances through recordkeeping, managing attendance daily, interacting with members, and using my Spanish background to interact with International members as well. Skills acquired included the understanding of organizing information according to the needs of a major car dealership, and learning balancing and budgeting within a large dealership.

Justin Marcinkiewicz

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Interned for six months in 2012 at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, GA. It is one of the largest Country Clubs in Georgia consisting of over 1,800 full and partial members. Services include weekly tournament preparation and operation as well as assisting the members in the professional shop and managing merchandise from over twelve manufacturers. Included operation of the POS system to sell merchandise. Worked for Dona Lerner Golf Company in the summer of 2011 as Assistant of Operations. Daily activities included teaching golf students of over 125 pupils, and collection of payments. As well as sending out weekly assessments of previous week. Helped prepare and operate US Kids tournaments at multiple golf courses. And also worked as a Outside Services Management Intern at the Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club, management activities conducted included overseeing a staff of eight, quarterly maintenance on cart fleet, as well as training new employees.

Responsible for correctly ringing up customers’ items and collecting their methods of payment.  Dealt with checks, cash, credit and debit cards, EBT, and coupons.   High intensity job that was heavily focused on providing great customer service.  Required a lot of focus to engage in conversation with the customers, promote our upgraded membership, scan items correctly, and pack their items back into their carts swiftly and diligently.  Restocked shelves, swept floors, watered plants, took out trash, change price signs, assisted customers with loading heavy purchases, and gathered carts from the parking lot when the supply inside the store emptied.  Worked double duty when scheduled as the only cashier and employee responsible for gathering carts.  Involved working quickly, yet proficiently at both duties to satisfy managers, supervisors, and customers.  Source Interlink Companies, Magazine Merchandiser, April 2012- August 2012. Responsible for merchandising ten stores at least once a week.  Drove to the stores, removed old magazines, and replaced them with new issues.  After a month of service, trusted with replacing, stocking, and maintaining one of the newest and largest CVS stores in the area after the company received the contract to merchandise that store.  Organized magazine racks and decided what issues needed to be replaced.  Duty to have the magazines looks presentable and attractive to potential customers.  Decided where to best place certain issues that the company wanted to promote.  Gained the trust and respect of the managers and employees of the stores by being industrious and professional.  Trusted to train a new employee in methodology and responsibilities of the job.

Wells Fargo Texas Trust and Investment Center, Austin, TX, Summer Intern: June-August 2013.  Main duties included managing numerous projects while assisting Center Owned and Center Service teams through weekly rotational scheduling.  Projects encompassed assisting Senior Management and Elder Services with the Due Diligence Project by corresponding and collecting updated insurance and licensing information from external vendors and internal partners to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo’s vetting procedures. Assisted Center Managers with the Statement Recipient Project by verifying information on vested remainder beneficiaries. Collaborated with fellow interns across Wells Fargo Trust footprint to complete and present a case study to senior managers. The study required us to administer the case through the life cycle of an account from opening to estate settlement. Daily administrative responsibilities consisted of opening and closing accounts, completing and reviewing Discretionary Action Requests and Annual Account Reviews. Legal Services of Southern of Piedmont, Charlotte, NC, Legal Assistant Summer Intern: January-May 2012.  Main duties included working with an office of Attorneys and assisting with composing of wills for elderly clients and the estate planning process from intake to document completion.  Operated the case management software program beginning at client intake to conclusion in a variety of practice areas including: Wills, Estate, Family Law and Domestic Violence. Managed courthouse runs to file documents and retrieved Criminal records. Wells Fargo Advisors, Charlotte, NC, Estate Processing Operations Specialist 3: March 2006-November 2011: Responsibilities included processing IRA death claims to beneficiaries of deceased Well Fargo Advisors clients. Submitted journals between deceased and beneficiary accounts on IRA, Brokerage and Custodial accounts. Educated and assisted inbound callers with required documentation needed to process claims on deceased account owners. Closed accounts and distributed funds from Command (CAP) and brokerage accounts to beneficiaries of the deceased. Disseminated IRA beneficiary options by speaking with claimants, estate attorneys, executors and administrators. Proactively monitored various work queues for account maintenance, and re-routed for escalation when applicable.
