Internships
The majority of the graduating seniors will have completed at least one, if not two, paid summer internships with a major financial institution. In a recent summer, 87 trust majors participated in internships in 26 cities including Charlotte, New York, Boston, Dallas, Cleveland, Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Institutions including U.S. Trust Bank of America, PNC, BB&T, First Citizens Bank, Well Fargo, and Wachovia interview students for summer internship and/or permanent hire positions. To illustrate the strength of the trust program, Bank of America actively recruits from more than 1,200 universities nationwide. Bank of America hires more graduates from Campbell University than any other university in the nation. Students are able to obtain practical working experience to strengthen their resumes for full-time employment after graduation.
