I audited time sheets for projects around the U.S., researched companies ProVantage could approach about being its 3rd party merchandising vendor, assisted the Chief Marketing Officer to prepare information packets to send to businesses, evaluated blue prints of new store set ups, assisted the Human Resource Director in background checks, posted job openings on craigslist, and had on-the-job merchandise training. Lowes Food Inc., Customer Service Leader (2007-2011). Resolved customer issues by providing merchandise exchanges and returns, facilitated the sales of lottery and tobacco sales, provided money order and Western Union transactions, and created a break/ lunch schedule for cashiers and baggers. Campbell University Residence Life, Resident Assistant (2008-2011). Responsibilities included enforcing the rules of living in an on-campus residence hall, dorm activity coordination, completing required paperwork each week, serving as a counselor to students in the hall, attending various training seminars, properly checking residents out of their dorm/ apartment for the winter and summer breaks.

Responsibilities include answering phones, maintaining weekly bulletin, creating and preparing mail outs, maintaining member records, organizing calendar, maintaining organization within the office, and keeping church website updated. Responsibilities included answering phones, sending and responding to departmental emails, assisting in enrolling employees in new insurance and benefits changes, completing entry payroll forms for newly hired employees and keeping notes during employee conduct hearings.

Responsibilities included ideas for development, ideas for advertising. Currently work at Food lion part time, Cashier, Quality assurance, and Stocker (2011). Responsibilities include customer service, in charge of quality assurance of the store and products. Atlantic Carpet Cleaning, Technician (Summer 2006-2011). Developed customer and colleague relationships on a daily basis, always made sure the customer was satisfied. Responsibilities included contacting and working with real estate companies, in charge of equipment and machinery operation. New York Pizza Pub Family Restaurant (2008-2011). Waiter, Bus boy, Food runner; developed customer and colleague relationship on a daily basis, solved placement or any other customer issues when needed. 1587 Restaurant and Tranquil Inn, Team member, Bus boy, Expeditor, and Cook when needed (summer and spring 2008-2010). Also, helped manage catering for weddings. Owens Family Restaurant, Bus boy, (2007). Responsibilities included cleaning and resetting the tables, assisting wait staff. Chick-Fil-a (August-Current) – Manage the supply of food to match the demand in a fast paced environment and increase customer satisfaction by doing so. JC’s Painting Co. (February 2011-June2011) – Established a web presence in order to gain a market share of the residential painting industry by tapping into the internet market. Working a few hours a week, I managed to achieve $20,000 worth of sales in addition to what the company was already bringing in. Baptist Fellowship of Angier (May 2010- August 2010) - developed a schedule in order to manage time and help other supervisors with the activities and projects that they had planned for the week. Working as a team was an integral part of this job in order to maintain a healthy environment for the children to come and be apart of. Worked towards becoming apart of a small Spanish community in order to gain trust and understand the culture. GDH Consulting (May 2010-June 2010) – Assisted a telecommunications expert with installing Cat-5 cables within the store in order to update their system. Assisted in pulling the regular Cat-5 wire as well as the fiber wire. We also had to install new registers and install a new network backbone. An integral part of Wal-Mart’s success is due to the amount of data and information their marketing team receives and I had a temporary opportunity to help set up the wiring system to feed the marketing team while they were reconstructing a Wal-Mart in Raleigh. Lowes Home Improvement (May 2009-September 2009) - Built consumer confidence in the products and services we supplied in order to increase brand loyalty. Achieved by helping customers become knowledgeable about the products and services most applicable to their needs and insuring customer satisfaction during the process. GAP Inc/ Old Navy - kept products advertised correctly so that customers were aware of the sales that they could take advantage of in addition to selling services such as credit cards. Efficiently and effectively managed the check-out process to ensure satisfaction.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Playing football, basketball, and soccer. Tutoring in the neighboring community of Angier, NC to help children understand the importance of education and other life values.
