WORK EXPERIENCE:
Sales Associate 2002-2004. Duties included handling customer relations and promoting credit, provided quality customer service on a continuous basis to insure a pleasant experience and repeat customer visits. Greeted and assisted customers with check-out and provided information as requested. Designed and planned displays and placed inventory to appeal to customer needs. Pennbriar Athletic and Racquet Club, Erie, PA, Receptionist 2002-2003. Performing duties of administration including the composition of letters, memos, planning events, handling projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and conflict management. Fox and Hound Pub and Grille, Cary, NC, Waitress Summer 2005. Duties included working in a stressful, fast paced environment catering to large groups of people.

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Landscaping and home improvement volunteer work for Mrs. Audrey Thomasson.  Several volunteer jobs for friends and neighbors.  All jobs involve teamwork skills, maintaining responsibility, and building trust in specific situations.  Other skills include Spanish language understanding and the ability to translate English to Spanish.

Campbell University Track and Field Team, Regional Qualifier and A-Sun champion in the High Jump.

Campbell University, Department Assistant for Clinical Research, August 2006 to present: Provide a main campus link for Course Directors located on a satellite campus, proctor tests and take attendance regularly, also assist any instructors with lecture material preparation and technical support. Campbell University: Audio Visual Technician- February 2006-present: Diligently assist in the daily functions of the Audio Visual Department. Provide technical support with professionalism for Law and Pharmacy School, as well as important events on campus such as graduation, orientation, and Alumni Board meetings. CarVaga Industries/Preserve Resources, Inc.: Promoted to Warehouse Coordinator May-July 2005: Coordinated projects within the warehouse such as the re-organization of over half of the materials stored, supervised other employees, scheduled shipping/receiving trucks, and helped do office work. McDonalds Inc.: Crew Member: August-December 2001: Developed excellent skills working with the public as well as keeping a positive, team-oriented attitude. Dance Family Farm: 1999-present; work with my father to help manage and maintain the well being of our family farm which is a tremendous responsibility.

Hyannisport Golf Club, Hyannisport, MA, Summer Intern with Assistant Professional status, May to August 2006. Assisted in merchandising, swing instruction, tournament operations, and sales. Coordinated weekly junior clinics. Assisted in Bag Room storage. Held opening and closing duties for the pro shop. Ridgemont Country Club, Rochester, N.Y. April 2001 to August 2005. Bag Room Attendant. Assisted in merchandising, practice facility maintenance, tournament operations, and golf club repair. Extensive experience in customer service.

 

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Volunteered for St. Peters Kitchen, Rochester, N.Y. Helped prepare and serve food to Rochester’s less fortunate families. Campbell Intramurals (flag football, softball). Hobbies include golf, hockey, and football.

First Citizens Bank, Hendersonville, NC May 2007- Aug 2007. Duties include working on Administrative reviews, Reg 9’s, and discretionary reviews. Worked with clients to resolve any problems or needs related to them. Trained extensively in learning the new rules and regulations of the banking industry. Interacted with Real Estate, Special Assets, Tax, and the Investment side of the bank.  J Arthurs Restaurant, Maggie Valley, NC, Waiter, May 2004-August 2006. Duties include dealing with customer’s needs and food preparation. Experiences derived from this job include dealing with stressful situations and handling customer complaints.  Buffalo Creek F.L.P, Waynesville, NC, Construction worker,  May-August 2006. Duties include designing, building, and manufacturing a log home.  Maggie Valley Country Club, Maggie Valley, NC, Pro shop attendant,  May 2002-August 2003. Duties include answering phones, collecting money, setting up tee times, and dealing with customers. Experiences derived from this job include dealing with customer problems and organizing day to day activities.
