Wright Investors’ Service, Inc. Direct Aid Scholarship
Wright Investors’ Service, Inc. and the Lundy Fetterman School of Business are pleased to announce that, Frank Jennings, a junior, is the 2011 Direct Aid Scholarship recipient. Frank is from Elizabeth City, North Carolina and is a Trust and Wealth Management major in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University.
Wright Investors’ Service, Inc. is an internationally recognized investment management firm with offices in Milford, Connecticut and Houston, Texas. For more than 50 years, Wright has had a history of service to institutions, bank trust departments, and individual investors in helping them achieve their investment and financial goals. The scholarship contest was developed to encourage students and award academic excellence for students pursuing studies in the areas of business, trust, and finance.
The Direct Aid Scholarship awards a $2,500 scholarship and an Apple iPad2 to one deserving student. Criteria for scholarship applicants include a GPA of 3.00 or greater, junior status in the Business School, and completion of a 1,000 to 2,000 word essay. This year’s topic was: Should the recent financial crisis affect the way an individual invests? If so, what should an individual do?
