Adam Smith Club
roundtable

The Adam Smith Club hosts several roundtable discussions throughout the academic year.  The goal of the roundtable series is to allow discourse and debate on public policy issues that the students find pressing.  The ASC Roundtable Discussion Series fosters intellectual and personal growth by allowing students to grapple with issues and with each other.  It is through the "messy" process of this hands on learning that Campbell Students can better understand, appreciate, and respect the power of the market and the possible folly of government regulation.

Each roundtable discussion is moderated by an ASC Officer who presents general background information of the policy issue up for discussion.  The discussion then follows a free form discussion.  The student moderator only interrupts the discussion if they feel a cue is necessary or if a particular person has dominated the discussion.

The Roundtable Discussion Series is free and open to the entire Campbell University community; it is also open to the public at large.
