Our Commitment to Christ

The Department of Religion and Philosophy is first and foremost committed to our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, to his Gospel and to his Church. Every Sunday, students and faculty alike serve in North Carolina churches as volunteers, youth ministers, choir members, Sunday School teachers, and pastors. We send out students every summer to work on the mission-field overseas and at youth camps closer to home. At Campbell University’s Department of Religion and Philosophy, you will find that we are Christ centered, Bible based, and ministry focused.

Dr. English leads first through fourth grade Sunday School at his home church every Sunday.
