The beauty of studying English is that you are not dependent on physical facilities. All you need are the printed word, a pen, some paper, and a desire to read both broadly and deeply to uncover the connections of ideas hidden in the language and threading through human history.
The English department has recently moved to the newly renovated Kivett, which is right next to our new library. This change was made in 2010 and offers students many more resources. Our spacious classrooms and easy to access offices help English majors have a place to learn, study, research, and ask questions. The library offers endless resources.
