Full Tuition Scholarship Competition

Please be aware that participation is limited to those students who have been accepted and have been notified that they qualify for the competition.

Every year, Campbell awards multiple full-tuition scholarships to highly-qualified students. Over 120 students are invited to compete for these scholarships, so the competition is very strong.

This year, our competition will be held on November 21, 2009.

What Can You Expect?

Check-in for the competition will begin at 8:00am at the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center, so you'll need to plan to arrive early.

Once you have arrived, the competition will begin. The competition involves an interview with a panel of Campbell faculty, alumni, and current students. Also, there will be an essay component of the competition. Details will be announced in the invitation.

When you aren't interviewing, we'll have small breakout sessions to show you how you can deepen your Campbell education with programs like Study-Abroad and the Honors Program.

Parents, you won't be left out. We'll have sessions for you as well.

We'll finish the day with a luncheon provided by our Dining Services staff.

What Do You Need To Do?

Students who are invited to compete will need to do two things in order to be fully eligible to receive the scholarship.

You'll need to register to attend the Full Tuition Competition on November 21st. Registration will be available October 9th - November 10th. Space is limited, so register as early as possible.

You'll also need to send three letters of recommendation to the admissions office. These must be received no later than November 10th so we can ensure that your letters are received before the event. You can have your letters sent to:

ATTN Adriane Karlinski
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Campbell University
PO Box 546
Buies Creek NC 27506.

Your letters of recommendation can come from your teachers, your guidance counselor, your boss or even your pastor. Remember to choose people who can speak to who you are as a student, a leader, and an individual.

Do You Have Questions?

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Adriane Karlinski at karlinskia@campbell.edu or by phone at 1-800-334-4111 ext. 1295.
