Tarr.  This scholarship is awarded to a student(s) enrolled in the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University who indicates academic ability.  Preference shall be given to residents of the State of North Carolina who exhibit exemplary character consistent with the philosophy of Campbell University; who are in the top one-third of their class after the first semester of their first year of law school; and the scholarship may be renewed for students who continue to comply with these preferences.

White.  This scholarship is awarded to a second or third year student(s) enrolled in the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University who indicates academic ability and financial need.  This scholarship is to be based on financial need and not class rank.  In addition to financial need, scholarships should be awarded to student(s) active in extracurricular activities; i.e.  Moot Court, Trial Team; SBA, or any student organization in good standing with the SBA or the school.  Finalists are to be interviewed by one member of the Mr. and Mrs. James Merritt White, Jr. family or any person designated by a representative of the family.
