Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is offering scholarship programs for Hispanic American students that range from $1,000 to $2,500. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage and a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Applicants must also be enrolled full time, have a GPA of at least a 3.0 and have applied for financial aid. For more details or to download an application visit www.hsf.net or www.gmsp.org. Deadlines vary for the different scholarship programs available through HSF.

SunTrust Off To College Scholarship Sweepstakes

High School seniors can win a $1,000 scholarship for their first year expenses at an accredited college or private career school.  One winner will be chosen every two weeks from October 31, 2006 - May 11, 2007.  Each winner's college or career school of attendance will also receive $1,000 for their general scholarship fund.  Students can begin registering September 15, 2006, and the 1st drawing will be held on October 31, 2006.  For more information and to apply go to http://offtocollege.info/. It's free to enter and eligibility is not based on GPA or financial need.

The Sallie Mae Fund

The Sallie Mae Fund is continuing its commitment to higher education access by offering more than $2 million in college scholarships to low-income and minority students. Information and applications are available at www.salliemaefund.org.
