Lieutenant Colonel Loffert graduated from Penn State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Science and was a Distinguished Military Graduate with a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry. Prior to joining ROTC at Penn State, Lieutenant Colonel Loffert served as an enlisted Soldier with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion of the 314th Infantry, 157th Separate Infantry Brigade; a U.S. Army Reserve unit in Huntington, PA.
Lieutenant Colonel Loffert has served in the Infantry his entire career, from a Private (E-1) as a basic rifleman to a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) now serving as Campbell University’s Professor of Military Science. His assignments include service with airborne, light, and mechanized Infantry units to include numerous deployments to various countries.
Lieutenant Colonel Loffert’s awards and decorations include 3 awards of the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, 5 awards of the Army Commendation Medal, 7 awards of the Army Achievement Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Superior Unit Award, various other service awards, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (2nd Award), the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, the Senior Parachutist Badge, and the Ranger Tab.
Lieutenant Colonel Loffert is blessed with a wonderful and supportive family. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Linden and have three children.

MAJ Charles S. Robertson

MAJ Charles S. Robertson initially enlisted into the Regular Army in 1986 and served as a Signal Analyst/Non-Morse Interceptor in various assignments. MAJ Robertson received his commission through Officer Candidate School as a Military Intelligence Officer. He went on to graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Marketing.
MAJ Robertson’s military education includes Military Intelligence Officer’s Basic Course, Field Artillery Officer Advance Course, Electronic Warfare/SIGINT Tactical Operations Officer Course, Multiple Counterintelligence Course, and Air Movement Operations Course. His assignments includes tours from company-level positions to working with national agencies such as; NSA, CIA, and Homeland Security. He served in Air Cavalry, Artillery, Engineer, Forward Support, Infantry, and Military Intelligence Units. He accumulated more than 10 years time overseas.
MAJ Robertson’s awards include several Army medals for Achievement and Commendation, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Senior Parachutist Badge and the Armed Forces Space Badge
He is married to the former Barbara Ballou. They have two sons Charles Jr., currently attending Campbell University and Terrence.

Major Psaltis recently retired from the Army after 21 years of service in 2005. He has served as the Campbell Battalion Recruiting Operations Officer since 2001. His service has included time as an enlisted soldier serving with the Special Forces and time as an officer with assignments in the Infantry and Signal Corps. Major Psaltis is a graduate of the Officer Candidate School of Fort Benning, Georgia. His assignments include Germany, Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, Fort Wainwright, and Fort Huachuca.
MSG Stevie Jones

1SG Stevie Jones joined the Army 15 Feb 1989. Completing the Armor One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, KY as a 19D, Cavalry Scout. 1SG Jones has served in various leadership positions such as Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Bradley Commander, Scout Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Instructor, Senior Military Instructor (ROTC) and First Sergeant.

SFC(r) Leondriss M. Williams

SFC Williams enlisted in the Army in March of 1985 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he graduated as a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator.
SFC Williams served in several leadership positions ranging from Team Leader to First Sergeant. While assigned to 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, SFC Williams served as a Squad Leader in the 618th Engineer Company. He went on to serve as the Battalion Construction NCO in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 307th Engineer Battalion.
Following his assignments in Fort Bragg, SFC Williams was reassigned to 25th Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawai’i. There he served as a Platoon Sergeant and the Company Operations Sergeant for the 84th Engineer Battalion. He also served in platoon sergeant positions for the 63rd Engineer Company in Fort Benning, Georgia.
While assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia, SFC Williams served as the Senior Drill Sergeant for 1/38th Infantry Battalion and Charlie Company, 30th Adjutant General (AG) Battalion (Reception). He filled in as First Sergeant in Hawai’i and Georgia on numerous occasions and retired as the Senior Processing NCO for 30th AG.
His military education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Jungle Warfare Course, Air Assault Course, Airborne School, the Modern Army Combatives Program, Drill Sergeant Course, Instructor Training Course, and the Equal Opportunity Leaders Course.
His civilian education includes an Associates Degree in Administrative Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. SFC Williams is presently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

LTC Robbins retired from the Army after 20 years of service and has been an Assistant Professor of Military Science with the Campbell Battalion since August 1997. He is currently the APMS at Methodist College. As a Military Intelligence officer in the Army, his assignments highlights include three commands and overseas assignments in Panama, Japan and Hawaii.

His civilian education includes an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baker College Flint, MI. He is currently searching for a Master’s degree program to further his education.

SFC (ret) Duane Whitaker

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Duane E. Whitaker enlisted in the Army in June of 1984 and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He moved to Fort Gordon, Georgia for Advanced Individual Training and later reclassified to a Food Service Specialist in 1988.
SFC Whitaker has served in several duty and leadership positions from Platoon Sergeant to Dining Facility Manager in his career field over the last twenty years. He has served in the 9th Infantry Division, 3rd Armored Division, 3/47 Infantry, 1/509th Infantry (OPFOR), 1/508 ABCT, 5th Special Forces Group, and the 82nd Airborne Division.
He served tow overseas tours (Friedberg, Germany and Vicenza, Italy) and three combat tours (Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom).
His military education includes: Primary Leadership and Development Course (Warrior Leader’s Course), Basic Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, Airborne School, and Air Assault School.

Master Sergeant Clinton Hill Sr. was born in Windsor, North Carolina 11 April 1968. He graduated from Bertie High School in Windsor, North Carolina in June 1986. MSG Hill entered Active duty in October of 1986, attending Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Georgia and Advance where he was trained to be an Infantryman.
During his 23 year career, Master Sergeant Hill served two overseas tours in Germany.
