What is the NC Teaching Fellows Program?
It is program designed to recruit talented North Carolina high school graduates into the teaching profession and to help them develop leadership qualities such as visionary thinking and risk-taking. Application for the NC scholarship must be made in the fall of the senior year in high school. It is a competitive scholarship that requires both local and regional competitions that provides $6,500 to 500 outstanding North Carolina high school seniors.
