Our Student Successes

Terence Attema is a junior mathematics major from Smithville, Ontario, Canada. Terence successfully balances his mathematics course load with being a varsity athlete. He competes on Campbell’s track and field and cross country teams. In 2007, Terence earned Atlantic Sun Freshman All-Conference honors in cross country, and he has been named Atlantic Sun All-Academic for two consecutive years.

Emily Smith is a senior from McLeansville, NC, majoring in mathematics with teacher licensure. In addition to doing tutoring in mathematics, Emily is active in the Math/ITS Club, is a student office worker for the Department of Mathematics/ITS and the Department of Communication Studies, serves as vice-president for recruitment for Circle K, and is a volunteer coordinator for the Student North Carolina Association of Educators (SNCAE). Emily plans to teach high school mathematics and pursue a Master’s Degree in mathematics education.

Otis Evans is a senior math major from Warrenton, NC. He is a member of the Math/ITS Club, works as an intern for Campbell Admissions, and is active in the Ministry of Acts Bible study. After graduation, Otis plans to pursue a PhD in statistics or a related field.
