Roger Jason Barbour, Graphic Design Roger worked at Turner Printing Services, Inc., a print shop located in Downtown Raleigh. He learned to operate color print presses and had the opportunity to design pieces for the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
Rich Apolinar, Graphic Design Rich completed a summer internship with Getinge USA, Inc., a world-wide company located in Rochester, NY. His work in the marketing division allowed him to use his graphic design skills in the real world as he designed brochures, newsletters, mail-out cards, manuals, and other marketing material. Rich’s internship also gave him an opportunity to learn in a big city environment while producing work for Getinge’s clients.
Tyler Merry, Graphic Design I went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and worked for two companies that shared the same resources. One company did reef preservation, the other helped Malaysian students find summer work in the states. I designed web pages, as well creating fliers and advertisements.
Darrena McCulloh, Graphic Design Darrena worked in Smithfield, North Carolina as a marketing/design director for Chick-fil-a. She completed on average one project each month, including posters and advertisements. A few of her projects included the design of flyers and posters for the "Chick-fil-a 10th Anniversary,” "Veggie-Tales Family Night,” and Valentine's Day. Another project included the creation of posters to be used by a local church, the local fire department, and Chick-fil-a for the release of the movie “Fireproof.”
