Scholarly Activities

Mr. Rodgers is currently:

  1. Exhibiting artwork in the Campbell University Art Department faculty exhibition and preparing work for several other exhibitions this fall including the North Carolina Watercolor Society – a juried exhibition
  2. Using Campbell University summer grant funds in purchasing self-training resources that would assist him in allowing more new media in the classroom
  3. Continuing committee work in these areas of the University: a. QEP (Quality Enhancement Planning), b. Study Abroad initiatives for Italy 2011
  4. Assisting students with initiating an AIGA student chapter at Campbell. (American Institute of Graphic Arts) www.aiga.org

Mr. Smith is currently exhibiting artwork in the Campbell University Art Department faculty exhibition. He is also preparing for a one-person exhibition at Duke University in the Louise Jones Brown Gallery of the Bryan Center. Mr. Smith has also had three paintings accepted into the “Falling Water” exhibition at the Eastern Shore Art Center Art Center in Alabama. That exhibit will take place this fall, 2009.

Mr. Tysor is currently researching the controlled drying of pottery clay in a calibrated drier. He has been involved with this for 3 years. He is continuing his ceramic career research in developing glazes and slips.
